  Welcome to Albania the country where everyone can admire and taste the beautiful and pristine nature.

 Albania is located in the western part of the Balkan peninsula. It borders the former  Yugoslavia (Serbia -Montenegro) and Kosovo in the north and the east, (FYR of)  Macedonia in the east, and Greece in the south. It has access to the Adriatic and Ionian  Seas in the west.Tirana is the capital and the largest city (1991 est. pop. 300,000) of  Albania. It is the administrative, cultural, economic, and industrial center of the Republic  of Albania.
The Albanian Riviera is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and unspoiled regions inAlbania.
The Adriatic and Ioanian coast of Albania are of a dramatic beauty. The coastline stretches for over 450 km. The Adriatic coast, about 300 km long has shallow water and long sandy beaches. The Ionian coast about 150 km is rugged and dramatic, with steep backdrops to fine white sandy beaches.

Albanian territory is abundant in mountains and hills, which constitute 2/3 of the country area. The most important destinations are Dajti, Llogaraja, Dardha, Bozdoveci, Voskopoja, Valbona and Thethi. These destinations offer natural possibilities to exercise numerous activities such as skiing, mountain climbing, trekking, cave exploration, mountain bikes etc. A specific activity that can be exercised in the mountains is Mountain Bike. Mountain Bike “Tours” are carried out in the Albanian Alps such as Thethi, Boga etc.
Albanian nature offers possibilities for other sports and active holidays like aeronautics, which is connected with the very suitable topographic and natural conditions of Albania.
